A deposit of $2,500 is required to confirm an individual spot on a single tour, unless otherwise indicated.
The deposit is non-refundable if the client cancels their participation.
The deposit is refundable if Air Safaris International [ASII] cancels the tour, unless caused by a Force Majeure situation.
Full payment is due no later than 90 days prior to the tour start date.
Air Safaris International may adjust the payment schedule for certain tours with more complex logistics, such as the Aussie Circumnavigator.
If a client cancels their participation, the following refund schedule will apply:
- Greater than 90 days, ASII retains the deposit only
- 30 to 89 days prior to tour start date, ASII retains 50% of the tour cost
- 29 days or less prior to tour start date, ASII retains 100% of the tour cost
Clients are encouraged to consider purchasing travel insurance to cover late cancellation before the trip starts or medical expenses during the trip due to unexpected health problems.
ASII routes are designed to minimize the effect of weather delays on the trip. In spite of this built-in flexibility, weather delays that result in additional costs that are not included in the trip price can occur. While ASII will do its best to mitigate these extra costs, any additional costs which cannot be absorbed by ASII will be charged to the clients. The Tour Director will provide a detailed breakout of these additional costs if this situation arises.
