Meet the Members of Our Team
Darling Downs Aero Club [DDAC] is our key aviation partner. Founded in 1928, DDAC’s professional staff and pilots provide logistical support throughout our tours. DDAC is based in Toowoomba, a GA-friendly aerodrome an hour’s flight west of Brisbane, and is ideally suited as a launch aerodrome. DDAC also provide many of the aircraft used during the tour.
Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre [WWFC]
Founded in 1932, WWFC has steadily grown and now operates a fleet of over 24 aircraft and a large number of instructors and staff. Located near Kitchener-Waterloo, an hour’s drive from Toronto, with full FBO capability, they are well positioned to provide quality support for our Canadian tours.
West London Aero Club [WLAC]
Based at White Waltham airfield, at the edge of the Heathrow airspace, it is one of the oldest airfields in the country. During WWII it became the HQ for the Air Transport Auxiliary, who were responsible for all aircraft deliveries to RAF stations. The officers’ mess has been converted for club use and still maintains the rich heritage of the field. A perfect setting to begin our European tours.
Minovation Flying School is based at Jandakot, our launch aerodrome near Perth. It has been offering flight training and aircraft hire to the Perth community since 1997 and is the oldest privately owned flying school at Jandakot.
